The wedding sermon is up to the silly ass in a black and white skirt and not those being married.

Two Mormons came to the door when I was scraping wallpaper in one of the kids bedrooms. Never one to miss an opportunity, I said "Any good with a scraper?" So they came in and they got to work and the more I took an interest the harder they worked. They did a marvelous job in no time at all. I hate scraping wallpaper. Anyway, they left me a book. I never finished it, couldn't read it for laughing.

I understand. Helluva political thing to bring up at a wedding though. After all, it was supposed to be their day not the preachers. He should save that kind of diatribe for his Sunday morning sermon.

You are absolutely right!
If my preacher talked about gay marriage during MY wedding I would feel he had ruined it!

I think for most in the UK. Who remembers what they say and who cares. I just remember because I so wanted to challenge him. If you asked my niece want he said I bet she does not remember.

Thing about the Mormons was, one was a real cowboy. I always wanted to be a cowboy but I don't think they take veggies. I have a favourite memory from the Culpepper Cattle Company. No, not the genuine former virgin one, the one where the cook asks the kid what he's doing there. He tells the cook he wants to be a cowboy. The cook says, "Son, being a cowboy is what you do when you can't do nothing else". When I started working on the railway it was like that. You should have seen some of the characters I worked with back then.
