Post Kim Evard Peacock
He was my brother, my big brother.
He was fine on Thursday, larking about with us at Mum's hospital bedside. We'd just sorted out her discharge date with care package in finally in place. He went home, ate his dinner, watched tv and went to bed. He just never woke up on Friday.
I'm still so numb. He was only 57. Leaves behind his wife, Jane; his daughter Holly, her husband Dan, and two grandchildren, Rhys and Riley.
I miss him so much

Thanks Zen x
Its made all the harder as mum has Altzheimers and was in hospital for the last month due to a fall. Myself and my brothers were fighting the hospital as she'd passed an initial mental assessment and we pushed for a mental capacity assessment which begrudgingly they did and she failed so finaly we havea care package in place and the day after that meeting Kim died. Mum due to the Altzheimers every day (six times yesterday to me alone let alone my other bro) gets the news like its the first time and it breaks hers and our hearts all over again. Altzheimers such a cruel disorder.

Hi Lisa,

I am very sorry for your loss! It is so intense when it happens suddenly!! It is never, never easy, even when a loved one has a terminal illness, but when it is suddenly it is always worse.
I am sending you a big big hug!

I am sure you always will miss him but in many ways he will be a part of you. The things he created in you will grow with you.
