Captain Barbossa: 'The Pirates Code' is what you might call "guidelines" rather than actual rules.

LOL! I love those movies.

My mother's grandfather was an actual pirate in the Caribbean.
Died of complications from a stab wound obtained in a brawl!

Have you seen Black Sails on Amazon Prime? I am having withdrawal symptoms as I can't get it in France.

The English Defence League are the only group publicly highlighting the issue and yet are misrepresented and castigated as being right wing and fascist.
Democracy in the UK has passed into history. What we have is a sham.A smokescreen. And one day it will be to late to do anything about it.

From the actions I have seen of the EDL and other neo-fascist groupings they are just are another arm of hatred which crosses religious and ethnic boundaries. Coming out of a meeting in Plymouth fueled by alcohol and attacking an innocent kebab shop owner and his family is not the actions of people I wish to be associated with. Far from being the answer the EDL and other far right extremists, as well as extremists in Islamic culture, are part of the problem.

There is no question that Sheria Law should be abolished in this country; we have established laws already.
Some Sheria Law is unethical and frankly monstrous.

Here in the US, they are not allowed to practice it, in private tribunals, as they were trying to.
Here in Texas they tried to set up a group of male elders who were going to oversee the Islamic community and deal with their cultural issues.
The governor of the State,
who happens to be a woman,
stepped in immediately and said: NO!
"None of the members of the Sheria tribunal are lawyers, no one has studied "law" anywhere. Therefore they cannot practice law, of any kind here. And, had they studied law, the only law that can be practiced in the US is that which is deemed "legal" in the US, not laws that apply to other countries."

Penalty is incarceration for people practicing Sheria law, which is considered ilegal here.
