I know that supermarkets are now making non plastic bags and beakers out of wheat. They work well except you cannot put hot drinks in the beaker or they melt to nothing.

Will we ever stop wasting though. I mean now we're in this Covid era and masks and gloves seem to be strewn everywhere around here. I personally cannot understand why a person has to just dump their litter whatever it is on the ground rather than putting it into a bin.
My masks are all washable and I dont use gloves I'd rather just wash my hands more often. I've always hated seeing litter on the ground. all of my children were brought up not to drop litter. It's how I was brought up so I dont see why I should teach my children any differently.

Had to go out this past week as my daughter who lives here is not well. She ended up in hospital on Saturday. On meds now and more blood tests done today at the drs surgery. On pushing her to dr's in the wheelchair all we saw was rubbish and discarded masks strewn around. So sad.

Yes it annoys me too. An infected mask could infect any person picking it up. It is so easy to put it in a bin.

Yes Pete she's on the mend. Her liver went wrong. Poor thing jaundiced for a few days but yellow all gone now. Her spleen and liver enlarged. She's to have mri and weekly blood tests. She doesnt drink so no idea what happened some viral thing no doubt. Hoping its nothing worse and clears up fully.

Corona virus has been shown to leave younger people with organ problems for months after. It is not just a chest problem. Many young people have had heart and liver and kidney problems afterwards.

Well if she had it recently we didnt notice and none of us seem to have gotten it. Last time they all had a "cold/flu" admittedly was the worst I've known them to have was at the end of dec beginning of jan. They all copped it really bad and had it a while too. I got a slight head cold in March just before my birthday and then we got lockdown a fortnight later when it was gone. Mine wasnt bad at all but then I take vit D daily they dont.
