Post No religion owns a country
This is not a Christian or a Muslim or an Atheist or an Hindu or Sikh or Agnostic or an any other Faith's country. It is a country were people can follow whatever faith or none faith they choose and that should be defended even if it's defending someone not of your faith.
Freedom to find our own journey in life is precious and we should stand against those who turn one against another or seek to remove that freedom. The restricting or persecution of one is the restricting and persecution of all.

I suppose that the Papal States, a 109-acre country in the heart of Rome, Italy, might beg to differ. So too, the right-wing fake Christians of the United States seem to have themselves convinced of the delusion that they have always owned this country, and must re-conquer it "for gawd!" or some such nonsense (pitiful if the "Omnipotent" needs their help, eh?).

Italy earns a lot of money by keeping the Vatican city separate, but without Italy I am sure it would not exist.
I agree with you when it comes to the US. There have been presidents who have said none believers are not citizens. Same here in the UK. The king is seen as the head of the church. I say b----l--ks to both of them . Yet the media defends them very strongly.
I just see it as a means to control us all and stop us asking questions.
